A delegation of the Consumer Union of Tajikistan visited the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and familiarized with the new normative documents adopted in the field of housing and communal services.
In particular, they were informed about in our country, on June 2, 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted decisions that Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Inspectorate for Supervision of Use of Multi-Family Housing, On Approval of Regulations on “CommunService” and “On Establishment of Single System for Utility Services” .
In pursuance of this resolution, all measures are being implemented taken by the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, all relevant organizations and enterprises of the Ministry system.
According to this, the work on renovation of multi-storey houses and complete set up of heat supply is under way.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the improvement of the legal framework and the provision of services to the population through modern forms and methods. In this regard, urgent tasks that need to be taken to protect consumers’ rights were discussed.
That is, the work that needs to be done to prepare qualified personnel and to provide a complete and accurate explanation of the obligations of the consumer under the law were discussed.
