More than 156 million soums were returned to 92 passengers.

The Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan has collected more than 156 million soums for air tickets in favor of consumers.

Due to the outbreak of COVID19 in our country, as in other countries, flights on all routes were temporarily restricted from March 16, 2020. As a result of flight delays, passengers began to turn to the retail outlets where they bought their tickets, asking for a refund. However, in many cases, consumer complaints were given unfounded excuses and a number of misunderstandings began to arise. In order to protect their legitimate interests, consumers began to seek help from the Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan.

In particular, let us take only the Bukhara region. Last year, the Bukhara Regional Association of the Federation of Consumer Rights Protection Societies of Uzbekistan received 92 written and oral requests on air tickets, as a result of which 156,019,581 soums were returned to consumers. Dear consumers, if you also have problems with air tickets, call the hotline 1091 of the Federation of Consumer Rights Societies of Uzbekistan or @PotrebitelUz_bot!
